Dr. Claire Ainsworth of the Mayerthorpe Veterinarian Clinic demonstrates aspects of calf delivery using the UFA’s bovine simulator which enables people to gain practical experience without causing discomfort or injury to a live animal. The veterinarian was addressing about 50 local cattle producers at UFA Cattle College, a one-day educational seminar held at Mayerthorpe’s Diamond Centre on Tuesday, Jan 22.
