This photo shows the original sculpture of the bovine open uterus model. We will create additional sculptures for later stages of pregnancy as well as creating a uterine slip for early pregnancy detection training purposes.
Now we have begun the molding process in preparation for casting. We will also create a cervix as well as various ovaries for palpation.
The sculpture is now ready for the fiberglass support jacket. Once completed the uterus can be cast.

Here we have the bovine open uterus suspended in the pelvis along with the broad ligament and ovaries. The uterus is easily exchanged for uterii with varying stages of pregnancy.
