This photo shows the completed prototype canine spay unit. Ten units have been built in order to test them in a classroom situation. Hopefully this will identify any possible problems or shortcomings with materials or design. This design uses a suture training pad for the skin incision.

Spleen pulled back and intestines removed showing the kidneys and uterus. The uterus along with the broad ligament, suspensory ligaments and skin can be quickly and easily replaced to re-set the spay unit.
