Here we see Dr. Audrey Remedios performing a simulated spay on a prototype unit to evaluate its performance and realism. Through this trial we determined what needed to be changed in order to make the spay simulator work more realistically.  The only consumable parts of this unit are the uterus and skin. The skin is sized to work with our suture pad bases as well, so it can be cut and sutured several more times after the spay procedure if desired.  With this unit we have endeavored to keep the procedure costs as low as possible.
