We have started development of an equine uterus model to be used in our equine model. It will be used in palpation training at UCVM. Currently biological materials are being used in the simulators, but they are difficult and time consuming to procure. When completed the uterus will have ovaries, oviducts and a representation of the suspensory ligament to psoition the uterus corrctly inside of the equine model.

A bovine uterus will also be developed, that will have several different stages of pregnancy and will be used with our bovine dystocia models.
