We are now beginning the refinement process for the equine colon. Reproductions of the various equine colon sections are being sculpted in styrofoam in order to improve the surface texture of the models, as well as their durability, when compared with the first prototypes. The methods of construction will also be improved (hopefully) with this re-design. This photo show the partially finished pelvic flexure, left ventral and dorsal colon.
