We have finished the lay-up of the Hereford cow model for Olds College. The finished unit will be painted to match a significant "real" cow at the school. "Pearl" should be finished up in early October. The lay-up was done using a more environmentally safe resin as opposed to the traditional polyester resins normally used with fiberglass. The finished product will be stronger and lighter and is safer to work with.
