This Holstein sculpture is completed and is ready for the molding process. It is based on ideal confirmations of the breed. Measurements and photos of good examples of the breed were taken from animals at Rocky Mountain Holsteins as well as models from Holstein Canada. Fiberglass copies of the sculpture will be used in conjunction with the calf models for a bovine dystocia simulator. Finished units will have working udders, soft vulva and anus as well as a reproduction pelvis and uterus.
